As copyright protect creative works of mankind, Nepal Copyright Registrar's Office (NCRO) is established for the effective protection and promotion of copyrights and related rights in Nepal. NCRO looks after copyrights of creative of works of literature, art, science and in any other fields as well as related rights of performances, phonogram productions and broadcastings. NCRO performs activities to improve the copyright system as mentioned in copyright Act, 2002 and rules 2004.
